Dubai- a different world

Dubai- a different world

This time we are not talking about a Hotel in Looe… we are visitng a place in a different part of the world…

Journey to the world of limitless opportunities – Dubai, was for me a dream come true.

Even with getting off the plane you’re going to feel the atmosphere of a different world, filled with peace and warmth in oriental style. People do not rush, always smiling and friendly, especially to foreigners.

Dubai is a place where two opposing and interwoven vzaimootrichashti world. Even where nature produces mixed feelings – of fear and admiration – at the sight of beaches with crystal clear water and endless desert …

On the one hand, Dubai is a modern and cosmopolitan, full of unique architectural excellence, luxury shops and high-tech … However, it kept the Islamic world, kept deep inside the traditions of the Orient.

Local people often say that has not gone on a safari, though never was in Dubai. I decided not to make this mistake and embark on the adventure … I had never seen so fine and golden-red sand.

Dinner desert, had a special program with interesting attractions, and delicious traditional dishes.

Do not forgot to do and a day trip to Abu Dhabi emirate. There I visited the Emirates Palace – former residence of the Sheikh and super luxury hotel today. Nearly half tonne and gold were used to decorate the entire building – from the lobby to the taps in the bathroom …

Of course, I did and the world famous hotel Burj Al Arab, a symbol of Dubai, which was introduced category of “7 stars”. Visited and Golden Street – a place where you can find both ordinary gold chains and solid, but incredibly beautiful clothes izbraboteni full of gold.ЧуйтеПрочит на латиница

India- a place to be discovered

India- a place to be discovered

Hotel in Looe… no go to India!

Tourist destination number one in India as well as yourself you can guess, is the Taj Mahal – an eternal symbol of love. We were scheduled to visit him as part of its program in Delhi. The information we had is that it is the city of Agra, which is 200 km from the capital.

The easiest and I think a safe way to visit one of the wonders of the world is to go to one of the many local travel agencies and rent a car with driver. Although this by Bulgarian standards is much greater in India may actually be for about $ 50 per person. Against them, however, deny a long meaningless wandering and reduces the possibility to deceive you, or losses to nearly zero.

The journey started at 7:00. I was surprised on this driver to set off so early, but even with the departure found that 200 km in India are not exactly the 200 km, with which we are accustomed. Huge tanks, buses, bicycle rickshaws, tuk-tuk (tricycle Motorola), automobiles, bicycles, carts – it all fits to each other on the road, but not because it is very wide, but because the density of vehicles is greatest.

Driving in India can write a single material, but the fact that there are no accidents, our average speed (and we were one of the fastest) was no more than 50 km / h.

As a result, we arrived in Agra around noon, still in the middle of our trip worshiped idea not to go by bus or otherwise. We would save some money, but certainly to lose valuable time.

Taj Mahal itself is about 10 km from the beautiful town of Agra. Passing an invisible boundary, you are leaving India and suddenly the landscape is filled with more familiar things from Europe – huge amounts of tourists and all supporting a global tourist attraction.

Organization around the palace has not changed for many years, is unlikely to change in the future, so I’ll share how in early 2010-a – may be useful to any of you who will travel.

Tickets are bought from special funds, which are about 2 km from the complex. Entrance to the Indians is 10 rupees (30 cents) for us as Europeans is 750. Interestingly, to ecology and will not form smog around the temple does not allow cars, buses, etc.ЧуйтеПрочит на латиница

Barcelona- a dream come true

Barcelona- a dream come true

When you are there there is no matter of cheap car rental, because you will not have time to think about this…

You can quickly look at Barcelona for 2 days, thinking that you have seen everything. At the same time you will hardly get to 200 to make it be full …

The beautiful Spanish seaside town, the capital of Catalonia is a popular tourist destination, ranked next to Paris and Rome to the cities that must necessarily be seen in Europe.

How to get there?

The easiest way is by plane. Yes, there are many bus trips, but Spain is quite far and you risk to arrive tired and do not see anything. Several airlines fly to Barcelona, and recently even a low-budget aircraft landing at the main airport and not far from the city.

Movement

If you are not an organized trip, it does not bother you. Very easy to fix yourself because the city is constantly tourist wave has information everywhere, and advancing from one point to another is easy and enjoyable and can be done at least two ways.

From the airport to the city center can be reached or Aerobus – line buses which are 20 minutes or by metro. Both are priced under 10 euros.

In the city the easiest way to go around is by subway, which has good coverage. Dozen lines of practice can bring you to every point with at most one transfer.

In case you have time, the best thing you can do is walking. In Barcelona it is a landmark – every building is a work of art by famous architect and a multi-story.

What to visit

If you have a weekend in the city, I recommend you do not sleep much. Wake up early and head to Plaza Catalunya.

From there began one of the most interesting attractions of Barcelona – the main street Las Ramblas. This is a truly amazing place where you can feel the heart of this artistic city.

MANALI

MANALI

At the foothills of the Himalaya’s lays the city of Manali in Himachal Pradesh. A hill stations that is kept away from the rest of the commercially entraped hillstations of India. It is left bare and in natural form. Eventhough Manali does have a lot of tourists, it isn’t exactly a very crowded place. Why is it a good place for backpackers on shoestring budgets?

Manali has the Hampta pass 14,000 feet above it. Rent a room for no more that 3 or 4 pounds a night. Freshen up, get appraoch a mountainering expert nearby and they will charge you peanuts for taking you up there. It could take you a good 4 to 5 days to get up there but the experience is irriplacable. The landscape and serene naturally beauty at that altitude is unbelievable. It’s worth every penny you spend. However do not attemp it if you do have any vascular of heart conditions, it could be too streneous for you. In the course of the trek, you will also be taught how to climb rocks and indulge in rafting. The camps that you stop over night for a well equipped and ready for any condititons, so are the shepards who take you up there. They are proffessionals with the mountains and will ensure that nothing troubles you throughout the trek to Hampta pass. Besides that, safari’s can be arranged to see the beautiful hill side of Manali. The town is small, cute and lively. And just like any other city in India, there is good food, music, shopping and culture to experience. There are a couple of rock music bars which you can visit during the night since the local are very fond of rock music. The best way of getting to Manali would be by bus, so you can forget about caravans and getting a caravan insurance quote.

Manali has much to offer, more that I can write about, its best you go there by yourself to experience the hillstation. I guarentee that you can get around the city with pennies. Hope this helps.
